The grapes were machine harvested and field destemmed before being gently pressed to stainless steel holding tanks for fermentation at cool temperatures with selected yeast strains, to preserve the aromatic fruit flavours from the vineyard.
Lifted aromas of watermelon rind, strawberries and raspberry bush. The palate is medium-bodied with a textural mouthfeel and focused acidity, leading to a generous finish (James Suckling – 90 points)
Salmon, duck and dishes with salty cheese like fetta are a great partner.
