“A Passion for wine delivered with Gusto” sums us up. Established in August 2012 by Managing Director Simon Wallace, Gusto Wines Limited is a family-run Wine Merchant – with a difference.
We deliver our passion for wine through providing you with interesting, quality wines at competitive prices. Our customers rely on us for the fun element whilst knowing that, at the top end of the wine market, we will have in stock or will source whatever you require.
The Gusto
Having worked in the wine trade since 1993, including positions at Mentzendorff, Cave Cru Classe and Diageo, Simon left the corporate world of wine in 2012 to set up Gusto Wines and enable him to explore and share his passion for wine. Initially supplying the on-trade in and around Sussex and Hampshire, the business has grown rapidly and through sheer demand, has now developed an e-commerce retail branch to enable us to serve private customers.
Our Wines
With a wealth of experience many of the wines we supply are from contacts Simon built up over those years in the wine trade. However, we are always expanding the portfolio, seeking to improve quality, choice and price – finding those hidden gems is what we are about. We are not seeking to compete with the supermarkets. We offer hand-picked wines, sourced by Simon and tested by the team – so we can tell you personally what we think!
We are also a proud member of The Merchant Vintners, the most prestigious wine buying group in the UK, comprising a collective group of 20 premier wine businesses. This gives us the buying power to compete in the trade whilst complementing our range hugely.
