Barbadillo Pedro Ximenez

Better known by its abbreviation PX this is the richest and stickiest of the sherry styles. By sun drying the grapes, Barbadillo have ensured that sugars become very concentrated indeed- hence the sweetness.

A richly sweet dessert wine, features a dark, mahogany color and aromas of dried fruits like raisins and figs, alongside notes of honey, chocolate, and coffee. The palate is velvety and long, with a dominant raisin flavor. It’s known for its concentrated sweetness and syrupy texture.
