  Bursting with cherry and ripe, red berry fruits intertwined with pepper and a touch of coffee bean. Elegant and medium bodied, this is an easy, pleasing all-rounder, delicious with pasta, ham and cheese.

• Château Malbat Bordeaux Rouge — x 2

  Full of juicy, red fruits this claret is soft and appealing with a lovely elegant balance that makes it very moreish!

  True to its varietal style; wonderful tropical fruit aromas, good depth of flavour with gentle vanilla characters on the palate and balanced by nice freshness to finish.

• Albarino Bernon Aquitania Blanco, Rias Baixas — x 2

  Fresh citrus and orchard fruit aromas and flavours, with a minerally element adding vivacity. Silky and precise, showing good lift but a bit of heat in the mid-palate.  It is balanced and persistent with plenty of lively acidity.

• Wide River Viognier — x 2

  South Africa is producing some great examples of Viognier, and this is no exception. An intense nose of apricots and citrus is followed by orange peel flavours against a rich, silky background.
