Small and select family of wines – Chardonnay, Syrah and a Merlot Cabernet blend, are Kate’s personal favourites and represent the best of Hawke’s Bay. “They’re not big blockbuster wines. They’re proudly cool climate wines, aged in French oak, with a lovely line of pure fruit, subtlety and elegance. The pristine fruit paired with refreshing acidity means there’s a restraint about them allowing them to age beautifully.

Gorgeous and plush, this sophisticated merlot dominant blend exhibits concentrated dark fruits that will slowly unfold. Finely structured with balanced acidity and tannin, this wine will continue to evolve for the next decade.
